Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of this website, run by OpsBuilt LLC ("OpsBuilt," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. Paid project work is covered by the written quote or agreement for that project, which wins if it conflicts with anything here.
Using this site
You may use this site to learn about our services and contact us. Please don't misuse it, for example by trying to break into it, overload it, send spam through the contact form, or copy it for commercial use.
Pricing and quotes
- Prices on this site are starting prices. Your final price depends on your project and is set in a written quote before work begins.
- Online store pricing depends on things like your product count (SKUs) and the features you need.
- Custom software is priced by quote only.
- Timelines on this site, such as "most websites go live within 2 weeks of your deposit," are typical estimates, not guarantees. Your quote sets the timeline for your project.
- We may change our prices. A price is locked in once we both agree to a written quote.
Project work
- Work starts after you accept a quote and pay the deposit it lists.
- Timelines depend on getting content, approvals, and access from you when needed. Delays on either side can move the launch date.
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we do it.
- Support after launch is included as described in your quote.
Hosting, domains, and stores
- Business website and online store packages include the first year of hosting. Business website packages also include the first year of the domain.
- After the first year, hosting and domain for a business website renew at $130 per year unless your quote says otherwise.
- Shopify stores require a Shopify plan, billed by Shopify directly and not included in our price.
- For online stores, you're responsible for your own shipping rates, sales tax settings, store policies, and the products you sell. We set up payment processing, but your payment provider's terms apply to your account.
Content and ownership
- The design, text, graphics, logos, and code of this website belong to OpsBuilt or the people who licensed them to us. Client logos and project images belong to their owners and appear here as examples of our work.
- For your project, you keep ownership of the content you give us, such as your logo, photos, and text. You confirm you have the right to use it, and you let us use it to build your project.
- Who owns the finished project is set in your quote or agreement.
- OBPrint, OBSeps, and ShopLink are OpsBuilt products with their own terms.
Other websites
This site links to other websites, including projects we've built. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers and liability
This site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will always be error-free or online.
To the extent the law allows, OpsBuilt isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using this site. Our total liability related to this site is limited to $100. Liability for project work is set in your project agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia. Any dispute about them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
